Allison Keskimaki's Coursework

Taken as part of the yearlong student teaching internship year, this course focused on developing our role as a teacher and a professional. The core of this course was on transitioning from student to teacher.

The second part of the yearlong student teaching internship year, this course centered on our teaching experiences, frustrations, successes, and ways to improve teaching in our content areas.

This course was a continuation of the fall course. Classmates were all social studies majors, so the loci was on pedagogy and reflection in the social studies disciplines.

This was the second half of the internship year, where we continued to focus on our roles as leaders in the classroom. In the spring, we also began discussing job searching and interviewing for teaching positions.
